I’m not in the film business, so I don’t suppose I need much instruction about how to make films. But I am a novelist and I’ve recently launched “Glamour Ghost” which sounds a lot like “Studio Affairs.” It’s based on my years living on “Mistress Row” or Rossmore Avenue. In fact, I was living right across the street from Mae West when she died.

Even though my place was a studio apartment, it had a dressing room and built-in vanity. I let my imagination run wild and imagined that a platinum starlet had once gotten ready for her big date there. Thirty years later, it became my fantasy fiction novel involving advice the ghost of Marilyn gives a young journalist. It has generated a lot of interest.

I can’t wait to buy “Studio Affairs.” I’ll be back in a few days.
